Beloved readers of Poem Per Diem,
I promise not to do this very often, but today I'm taking the liberty of sharing the links to several poetry translations of mine that have come out in recent months.
Publishing is a crazy business. So is translating. So is poetry! So the publication of any translated poetry collection is something I treasure --and a special challenge to keep in circulation.
Here, in case you'd like to explore any of them, are five newly hatched poetry books:
The Brush, by Eliana Hernández-Pachón (Colombia), from Archipelago Books
What Comes Back, by Javier Peñalosa M. (Mexico), from Copper Canyon Press
Intact, by Claudia Masin (Argentina), from FlowerSong Press
I Don't Believe in Poetry, by Legna Rodríguez Iglesias (Cuba), from Alliteration Publishing
A Whale Is a Country, by Isabel Zapata (Mexico), from Fonograf Editions
I love, admire, and continuously learn from the work of these poets. I'm grateful for the chance to share it with you in English translation.
Yours in poems,
Robin
